My Story

At the age of 14 I knew that I needed to have a career that included some type of food service. I was that teenager that cooked for the family while my parents were at work and 9 times out of 10, it was actually edible! I would host dinner parties with success and ease while most of my friends couldn’t even boil water. I guess I came by this talent easily being born into an Italian/Lebanese culture. I grew up watching my mother create delicious dishes that would leave her own guests in awe.

After finishing my university degree and getting a job in finance at a bank, I decided to take a leap of faith and take some time off from work to fulfill that childhood dream. I attended the Cordon Bleu Cooking School of Paris in Ottawa and upon completion , started working as a chef for a large catering firm.

15 years later, I started my own catering business yet as my family grew in size, my time away from my children was being felt. So here I am now, 20 years later, still realizing my childhood dream while balancing my family life. I have the privilege of helping busy families achieve success in the kitchen with ease. Knowing that they could spend more of their time with their family and less so on planning, shopping, and chopping makes me feel a great sense of pride.

Not too often are we able to say that we have a job that we love so much that it often doesn’t even feel like a job. Thank you for allowing me to feel that way.

Let’s cook together soon,
